For this position, we are seeking an inspiring individual with a preferred experience level of 10+ years to provide technical support to our staff, and to manage our quality assurance and quality control efforts. Applicants should be problem solvers that are enthusiastic, patient, and driven. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator with the desire to be in a creative and collaborative office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform quality control reviews of contract documents at milestones
- Collaborate with design teams on detailing, design coordination, and code compliance
- Mentor developing staff
- Incorporate sustainability initiatives into project reviews
- Contribute to the standard detail library
- Investigate quality related issues and make recommendations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Understanding of the IBC, IECC, NFPA 101, and TAS
- Understanding of the City of Austin Land Development Code
- Extensive experience with institutional construction and detailing
- Professional degree in Architecture
- Commitment to all aspects of sustainability

All employees are equipped with laptops, webcams and video conferencing services to participate in project meetings, client meetings, weekly staff meetings, happy hours, training, and design critiques.
