Minimum Qualifications:  Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field or major coursework in project management, plus six (6) years of progressively responsible work experience in managing projects.

Description:

This Project Manager position will join the Redevelopment Division project management team within the Financial Services Department to manage implementation of the City’s redevelopment projects. Redevelopment assignments will include projects within the Colony Park Sustainable Community Development, a community-led effort to develop 200 acres of city-owned land into a mixed-use, mixed-income, walkable community, and within the Mueller Redevelopment, a 700-acre mixed-use, mixed-income community located on the former Robert Mueller Municipal Airport, and potentially other projects.

Assignments will require:

  • Review of site plans, architectural and construction drawings for proposed buildings and infrastructure for compliance with design standards and City requirements.
  • Participation, management and/or coordination in numerous aspects of project determination and delivery including in areas of transportation, utilities, entitlements, real estate, architecture and design, site planning, governance structures, contracting, permitting and construction, property management, and community engagement.
