About Us:
Chioco Design is a design-focused architectural and interiors studio that takes on a broad range of project types and scales. Our firm’s work ranges from the intimacy of private residences to the massive scale of industrial adaptive reuse. We have designed restaurants, bars, retail stores, mixed-use facilities, and public spaces. We maintain a diverse client base with various project types and believe this to be an effective way to experience and contribute to the community.
We are Seeking:
We are now seeking a full-time Intern or Project Designer that has one to three years of experience. You should possess a high level of organization, a strong capacity for design, and a willingness to learn and grow alongside our incredible team.
As a qualified candidate, you would be responsible for developing design concepts, creating high-quality renderings, and assisting with the production and execution of construction drawings. Over time and with mentorship, you are expected to develop the ability to manage projects from beginning to end. You will be pitching schematic designs, assisting clients directly, producing a highly technical and detailed set of construction documents, directing a team of consultants, and providing oversight throughout construction.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Arch or M.Arch, seeking licensure
- Highly organized, multi-tasked oriented, excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in: Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign
- Familiarity with Rhino and Enscape is also a plus
- Assistance in the production of Construction Documents
- Preliminary knowledge of construction standards, methods and materials
