Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Designer at SEAUX+PIERCE Architecture, located in the Hill Country of the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. The Designer will be responsible for space planning, architecture, construction drawings, and interior design projects.
Qualifications
- Responsible for producing Permit Drawing sets (Schematic Design through Construction Documentation) using BIM software (Revit or ArchiCAD).
- Strong creative and conceptual design abilities.
- Thorough knowledge of construction, building technology, and structures.
- Performs design layouts, features and analysis of design, and building planning studies.
- Responsible for researching, compiling, and recording information for assigned project work.
- Prepares project specifications relevant to project material selections.
- Responsible for communicating and coordinating projects with consultants.
- Interior Design skills are a plus.
Requirements
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion, SketchUp, and other design software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Education and Experience
- 8+ years of experience in an Architecture firm.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or related field.
- Professional licensure or certification is a plus.
