Haddon+Cowan Architects ( www.haddoncowan.com ) is a growing Austin firm established in 2004 with a diverse project portfolio, including K-12 education, higher education, medical and private commercial work. We are looking to hire a full-time Architectural Designer within the next few weeks to help manage a growing project list. HCA offers a collaborative and highly supportive work environment, exposure to a variety of project types and the opportunity to join a growing and vibrant architecture firm.
Responsibilities: Applicant will be asked to work on a full range of project programming, design, production, and construction administration duties. Specific duties will be assigned according to applicant’s experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Architectural degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) from a University with an accredited architectural program.
- Technical knowledge on the basics of building design, with the ability to develop comprehensive detailing and coordination.
- Design- and detail-oriented. Should be able to work independently and also collaboratively.
- In-depth familiarity with Revit and AutoCad software programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in an Architectural practice
- Bluebeam Revu proficiency
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Strong Sketch-Up or other 3-D modeling/graphics proficiencies
