Women in Architecture 2021 Site Tour: 02

The WiA Virtual Site Tour of 1111 W. 6th Street showcases the transformation of a previously inwardly developed site and home of the Austin Independent School District (AISD) headquarters, to a two-building class A office building development focused on strong outdoor connections. In the discussions, we learn how the team worked collaboratively to find creative solutions for the constraints that the existing structure imposed, and to deliver the project on schedule during the pandemic.
