About Baldridge
Our work is grounded by careful programmatic study, research, and stakeholder engagement resulting in designs with clean and legible concepts. We care deeply about our designs and understand that they must be drawn thoroughly, clearly, and completely.
As our reputation has grown, our work has migrated from our Austin home to include projects in Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, North Carolina, Rhode Island, and Wyoming.
We are looking for a member who is self-directed, talented, and hungry for a diverse array of projects.
The next two years are going to be truly exciting here – unlike any that have come before. It will be a period of reinvention. We are looking for that next addition to the team to join us on this voyage.
Position
Sr. Architectural Designer (or Architect)
The work:
You will be working on a mix of projects spanning restaurant, commercial, hospitality, and programs. While we were initially known for our houses, our current work comprises some truly exciting commercial commissions throughout Texas, Colorado, and Georgia.
Your job will touch all phases of design and construction. You will interface directly with clients and will perform construction phase services.
Qualifications
Designer with at least five years of structured office experience. This is an in-person position.
As always, we are looking for a member with a hunger for design, an acute attention to detail, and a drive to learn. We are looking for a partner who is self-motivated but who has the maturity to ask questions where necessary.
We are not looking simply for a “manager” or a “designer.” We are looking for a person who can truly help us drive designs and execute projects.
Required: AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, D5 Render or Enscape.
Visual communication skills in renderings.
Verbal presentation skills
A portfolio that demonstrates both design excellence, technical proficiency, and graphic presentation skills.
