Polkinghorn Group Architects, Inc. is seeking a Senior Interior Designer

The position requires working closely with the team, while you coordinate and manage all facets of the interior design process of projects. The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously is essential so strong organizational skills are a must. Our ideal candidates are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of adapting to changing client needs and internal priorities.
Education/Skills required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, or Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited university
- 5 + years of professional experience leading high-quality interiors projects of varying complexity and scope. Healthcare-related experience is a plus.
- Understanding and wide knowledge base of finishes, fixtures, furnishings, and design trends.
- Experience with the production of Construction Documents and Construction Administration responsibilities.
- Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with other designers, consultants, contractors, and clients.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-Up, Adobe Creative Suite, Power Point, Photoshop and Excel.
Responsibilities to include:
- Understand and translate the client’s vision, goals, and objectives into solid design concepts within budget, and relevant to the architectural setting.
- Skillset should include the ability to cover the complete spectrum of design, development, and deliverables.
- Utilize artistic, aesthetic, and technical skills ensuring quality standards are maintained in the selection, specification, and procurement of FF&E.
- The ability to execute the design with an innate style that is functional and unique.
- Engage creative thinking to create finish boards and graphic presentations for clients.
- This candidate needs to display meticulous attention to detail and have the capacity to multi-task.
