CB Design Group is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Project Manager with 10+ years of experience, to expand our firm to the greater Southwest & Midwest regions. Position Requirements:
- 5-year Bachelor’s (B.Arch) or Master’s degree in architecture from an accredited university.
- Active Architecture License (RA / AIA) is required. NCARB / LEED preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing A/E teams and developing design documentation in healthcare or other large scale institutional project types.
- Experience with Department of Veterans Affairs projects is a huge plus.
- Willingness to occasionally travel out of town to project meetings and site visits.
- Strong communication skills and graphic presentation skills.
- US citizenship or permanent resident status required.
- Position is fully remote, but applicants located in the Southwest / Midwest Regions are strongly preferred (Texas, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Michigan, etc.)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish project strategy, execution plan, scope, fee, staffing, schedule, risk register, communication plan, and quality plan.
- Lead complex client, user-group, agency, contractor, and consultant coordination.
- Provide feedback, advice, project updates and encouragement to team members.
- Direct design and documentation across multiple phases and disciplines.
- Monitoring budget, schedule, contract compliance, change management, profitability, and client satisfaction.
- Regularly reporting to executives or stakeholders on the progress of the project.
- Assist less experienced Project Managers and provide escalation support for technical, contractual and Construction Administration-phase issues.
- Responsibility for contractual risk, scope creep, fee management, client satisfaction, and consultant performance.

Computer Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
- Project scheduling tools
- Ajera or equivalent project accounting / resource planning system
- Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360
- Bluebeam Revu
- Revit and AutoCAD working knowledge
- Dashboard/KPI reporting tools preferred
- SharePoint / OneDrive document management
- CA administration platforms for RFIs, submittals, field reports, meeting minutes, and closeout
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $120,000 – $150,000 — commensurate with experience.
