Studio Steinbomer is an award-winning Austin architecture and interior design firm seeking an experienced Project Manager / Project Architect to join our growing team.
We are a collaborative studio of architects and designers who believe great design begins with strong relationships—with our clients, our consultants, our contractors, and one another. Our work spans custom residential, commercial, civic, institutional, preservation, and adaptive reuse projects throughout Central Texas, giving our team the opportunity to work on a wide variety of project types and scales.
As our firm continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced architect who enjoys leading projects, mentoring team members, solving complex problems, and guiding clients through the design and construction process.
What You’ll Do
- Lead projects from schematic design through construction administration
- Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with principals and design staff to develop thoughtful, high-quality design solutions
- Mentor and support emerging professionals within the studio
- Participate in quality control and technical coordination throughout all phases of work
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited university
- 8+ years of professional experience, with a strong emphasis on commercial and institutional architecture
- Architectural licensure preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing projects through all phases of design and construction
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Experience coordinating consultants, clients, and contractor teams
