Hello! Rauser Construction is looking for a Project Manager to join our team, and help lead the construction of design-focused custom homes at the highest level of architecture and craft in Austin.
Our PM role is a mix of traditional project management and on-site supervision. You’ll oversee the budget, schedule, documentation, and communication, while also coordinating the day-to-day work in the field and keeping a close eye on quality. We collaborate with excellent subcontractors and craftspeople, so this is not a command-andcontrol position. The job is to be prepared, communicate clearly, solve problems early, and create an environment where talented people can do their best work.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Organized, prepared, and proactive
- Comfortable coordinating a lot of people, information, and decisions
- A clear communicator and good listener * Confident taking ownership and making decisions
- Calm under pressure
- Able to hold people accountable without yelling or micromanaging
- Attentive to both architectural intent and construction quality
We care more about judgment, communication, and leadership than a particular number of years of experience. Experience in high-quality custom residential construction is a plus, whether on the builder or architecture side. You should be comfortable reading detailed construction documents and communicating closely with homeowners, architects, consultants, and trades.
