JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager position manages multiple small/medium projects, coordinates all aspects of assigned projects, and estimates scope of work. Has full responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple small and midsized projects. Responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects. Can act as the primary liaison to the client to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the client’s satisfaction. Actively manages client’s budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and team assignments. Must act as a team leader in collaboration with Project Architect and Project Designer to directly supervise the team’s design and technical delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES
Communication:
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, required documents and presentations to various audiences, including project team, and client relationships.
- Frequently communicates with team/piers on assignments, questions, progress, and completion of tasks.
Teamwork:
- Provides leadership for a project team under a senior project manager by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
- Determines staffing needs, deadlines, and internal expertise to make the project a success.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
- Collaborate, support, and mentor staff within a team-building work environment, where team members have fun while effectively working together toward meeting internal performance goals as well as client objectives.
Proposals:
- Assists in preparing proposals and reviewing contracts for small to large projects.
- Assists in determining project-specific information including overall project scope, fee estimating, and project scheduling.
- Involved in business development by maintaining existing client relationships while fostering new relationships.
Project Management:
- Develops project work plans, including staffing, and oversees/plans all architectural aspects of construction projects from Concept / Schematic Design Phase through
Construction Administration.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel, ensuring individual job assignments are completed timely and consistent with project requirements.
- Proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE + SKILLS
Job Knowledge:

- Advanced knowledge of architectural building systems, construction methodology, design, trends, material application, sustainability, integrated design, and LEED guidelines.

- Proven ability to present to clients and assist and participate in marketing/project interviews.
- Available for limited travel, works hours as required to meet training and project requirements/deadlines.
- Continue professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices.
- Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
- Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution.
- Understand the interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
REQUIRED EDUCATION + CREDENTIALS + EXPERIENCE
- Professional degree in architecture or related field required; Bachelor of Arts or Science in Architecture or a Bachelor of Architecture and/or Master of Architecture preferred.
- Architecture licensure in good standing required; NCARB certification preferred.
- AIA, CSI, NCARB, IIDA and/or other current achievement affiliations in good standing preferred.
- CSI, LEED and/or WELL accreditation preferred.
- Experience in construction administration
- Generally, eight years+ post-graduation experience in architecture; comparable experience in related fields will be considered.
