Project Designer
We want a designer that is eager to manage (or learn how to manage) a variety of projects. Our current roster include rock climbing facilities (Crux), retail spaces, Architect-as-Developer residential case studies, private venues, etc.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on a variety of commercial, retail, and mixed-use projects.
  • Produce exceptional drawings and models with a keen eye for architectural constraints.
  • Explore creative design solutions that balance aesthetic, technical, and budget considerations.
  • Prepare project documents with accuracy and precision (use snaps, hold shift for straight lines—non-negotiable!).
  • Coordinate effectively with consultants (Structural, MEP, etc.).
  • Walk the walk—bring ideas to the table and drive them forward.
  • Contribute humor and good vibes to a studio environment that values camaraderie and optimism.

Minimum Requirements

  • Archicad Proficiency – No BS. You need to know Archicad.
  • Degree in Architecture.
  • Accuracy & Precision – Demonstrated rigor in drafting and modeling techniques.
  • 1–5 Years of Relevant Experience – Particularly on commercial or mixed-use projects.
  • Basic Knowledge of Building Code.
  • Excellent Communication Skills – Both written and verbal.
  • Strong Focus and Task Completion – Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and self-manage.
  • Consultant Coordination – Capable of liaising and partnering with outside specialists.
  • Humor – We want you to be a good teammate – even under pressure.
  • Initiative – Ideally, you’re smarter, faster, and more talented than we are.
