We are currently seeking a Project Architect to join our multi-disciplinary design team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working in a design intensive office. Residential experience is a must. As our office is a collaborative environment, persons in this position will be working alongside other designers and architects on multiple projects concurrently.
Qualifications
- Formal education in Architecture
- 5+ years experience working in a design office, residential experience required
- Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Self-motivated individual who is comfortable asking questions
- Efficient with communication and correspondence
- Experience in delivering projects from Schematic Design through substantial completion
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design team for successful integration of Architecture and Interior Design
- Develop construction documents independently and as part of a design team
- Study massing and design development in SketchUp
- Correspond with Contractors and Consultants
- Attend job meetings on site with Owner, Architect and Contractor
