About Us:
Chioco Design is a design-focused architectural and interiors studio that takes on a broad range of project types and scales. Our work ranges from the intimate scale of private residences to the expansive scope of industrial adaptive reuse developments. We have designed restaurants, bars, retail stores, mixed-use facilities, and public spaces. We are Seeking:
We are now seeking an experienced in-studio Office Manager & Bookkeeper for full-time employment. Beyond supporting our staff, this role is essential to shaping the experience of our clients and guests. Hospitality is a core part of our ethos—how we welcome, host, and engage with people matters deeply to our work. The Office Manager will take ownership of our studio environment, ensuring it reflects the warmth, care, and attention to detail that define our practice, while also elevating our outreach and responsiveness to prospective clients.
What We Like about You:
- Highly organized, multi-task oriented, excellent communication skills.
- Manage all Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable entries (Quickbooks experience required), and we will provide insight into coordinating QBO with our project management / billing software. Create invoices, run monthly reports, and assist in the creation of our annual budget. Lead quarterly financial report meetings with firm ownership and help us stay informed of all things financial.
- Make our amazing clients feel welcome and celebrated.
- Willing to provide in-office support to your colleagues, which includes front desk reception and office organization, as well as the replenishment of office supplies
- Organize and schedule monthly lunch and learns and occasional product rep presentations.
- Provide high-level planning assistance with studio events, such as our annual holiday party and biannual art openings.
- Organize software subscriptions and liability insurance policies (annual recurring renewals) and maintain communication with our I.T. provider
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Proficiency in: Quickbooks Online, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office and Excel, Gmail and Google Calendar, Asana
- Willingness to learn: Monograph project management software (for creating invoices and collecting payments
Bonus Points (encouraged but not required)
- Interest/Experience in coordinating the marketing efforts of our design studio. This can include:
- Coordinating awards submissions: maintaining a schedule for submission deadlines, organizing photography and supplementary writeups
- Maintain active social media account (weekly post) and coordinate website updates as needed
