Job Description
An established, Austin-based architecture firm is seeking a Multi-Family Project Manager/Architect to join our growing multi-family team.
We specialize in thoughtful, design-forward commercial architecture that integrates modern design principles with environmental sensitivity, material innovation, and seamless construction execution.
This is a leadership role for a highly organized, technically strong professional who can confidently manage commercial projects from pre-design through construction administration — and who understands how projects are executed in the field.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee multi-family project delivery from concept through construction
- Actively produce and review drawing sets in Revit (required), including Construction Documents, detailing, and specifications
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and client relationships with clarity and professionalism
- Coordinate consultants (MEP, structural, civil, etc.) and ensure seamless interdisciplinary collaboration
- Oversee permitting processes and code compliance for commercial projects
- Actively participate in construction administration and support design-build integration
- Mentor team members and uphold high production and documentation standards
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional architectural experience, including commercial project leadership
- Advanced proficiency in Revit is required
- Proven experience managing commercial architecture projects is required
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, detailing, and site coordination
- Experience with consultant coordination and permitting processes
- Licensure preferred but not required
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
