We are currently seeking an experienced Interior Designer to expand our team of creative Architectural and Interior Designers. The right person will be:

  • Creative and logical, continually considering the future implications of choices, actions, and decisions
  • An avid and self-driven learner with a desire to apply their experiences in new and innovative ways
  • Someone who knows their resources and how to use them but knows when and how to reach out for assistance
  • An aid in creating a positive and ethical work environment that is conducive to productive team collaboration; attracting, retaining, and developing a diverse group of top-quality employees at all levels

Important Qualifications:

  • A Professional Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA Accredited program; an interest or experience in Architecture is a plus
  • 5-10 years of design firm experience (experience at a combined Architecture and Interior Design firm a plus)
  • Licensed Interior Designer
  • Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Maintains and ensures great communication with clients, developers, and team members
  • An interest in working on both Architectural and Interior aspects of a project
  • Strong design portfolio across a broad range of project types

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience in Multi-Family Residential and/or Senior Living projects
  • Takes special joy in planning and creating a well thought out, quality set of Construction Documents
  • Experience working with multiple clients with varying project timelines through all stages of design with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • Modeling and drafting in Revit with efficient precision; adhering to drawing standards
  • Assist Design Principal in the development of Schematic Designs and ensure design continues to develop in line with the conceptual vision, code requirements, client expectations, and project budget
  • Makes all finish and furnishings selections that align with project design parameters
  • Leads client presentations
  • Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to follow a task to completion
  • Manage project schedules, teams, tasks, consultants, clients, and building and permitting officials, for multiple projects with varying timelines to meet project goals
  • Maintain the library to ensure that the most current samples are available, and provide organization and coordination with product vendor reps
