Chioco Design is a design-focused architectural and interiors studio that takes on a broad range of project types and scales. Our firm’s work ranges from the intimacy of private residences to the massive scale of industrial adaptive reuse. We have designed restaurants, bars, retail stores, mixed-use facilities, and public spaces. We are Seeking:
We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer with 10+ years of professional experience to join our collaborative team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in interior architecture and design, with demonstrated experience leading projects from concept through construction. This role involves close collaboration with architects, clients, consultants, and contractors to create cohesive and distinctive environments that align with each client’s vision and our firm’s design ethos.
Please note that we are an in-office design studio. No remote or hybrid positions are currently available.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and documentation of interior projects across multiple typologies (commercial, hospitality, retail and residential).
- Develop and present design concepts, material palettes, and FF&E selections.
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and vendors throughout all phases of a project.
- Manage project schedules and deliverables with precision and attention to detail.
- Mentor and collaborate with junior staff within an open studio environment.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Professional degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proven experience leading interior design projects from concept to completion.
- Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and presentation tools.
- Deep understanding of materials, detailing, and furniture/lighting specification.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- NCIDQ certification and/or Texas registration preferred.
