LMD partners closely with MML Hospitality—led by Liz, Larry, and Tom Moorman—whose award-winning restaurants and hotels are celebrated for their distinctive character and craft.

Role Summary:

We’re hiring a proactive, detail-driven FFE Procurement Manager to oversee the execution of all Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment across our custom hospitality projects. This role requires a unique blend of project management, design sensibility, and technical capability. In addition to managing budgets, schedules, and vendor coordination, the ideal candidate will have experience in design or fabrication and be self-sufficient in drawing software. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, highly customized environments and knows how to bring creative vision to life without missing a delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

FFE Documentation & Design Support

  • Create and maintain FFE matrices and specification books.
  • Prepare shop drawings, cut sheets, and supporting documentation as required.
  • Utilize drawing software (CAD/Revit or similar) to support design intent and coordinate with fabricators.

Project Management

  • Develop and manage detailed FFE budgets, schedules, and procurement plans.
  • Ensure FFE deliverables align with overall project construction timelines.
  • Track all FFE items from quote through installation, including lead times, deposits, and delivery status.
  • Maintain internal tracking systems for specifications, budgets, and vendor communication.

Vendor & Fabrication Coordination

  • Solicit pricing, issue RFPs, and generate PO packages in collaboration with Purchasing.
  • Serve as primary liaison with vendors, fabricators, and shipping providers.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, prototypes, and fabrication details.

Install Execution

  • Develop install plans, manifests, and schedules.
  • Oversee installation logistics, including coordination with contractors and warehouse teams.
  • Lead punch list process and troubleshoot styling or delivery issues.

Budget & Logistics Ownership

  • Maintain up-to-date cost logs, markup summaries, and invoicing records.
  • Partner with the Purchasing Agent to coordinate orders, delivery logistics, and warehouse tracking.
  • Flag potential budget overages or risks to Studio Director and Project Leads.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in FFE procurement management, design, or fabrication (hospitality preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of custom furniture, finishes, and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in CAD/Revit or similar drawing software (self-sufficient).
  • Skilled in developing FFE matrices, specification books, and tracking documentation.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; able to handle 100+ line items across multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and specification software (DesignSpec, Studio Designer, or similar).
  • Confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative, high-output environment.

Bonus Experience (Not Required):

  • Background in fabrication, industrial design, or operations.
  • Experience working with custom fabricators or hospitality developers.
  • Familiarity with fast-track restaurant or hotel project timelines.
