Overview
The City of Austin is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the Environmental Officer position. This role reports to the Deputy Director, Watershed Protection. The next Environmental Officer will have several exciting challenges to address and areas of opportunity to excel. Among these is the need to develop, implement, and monitor a wide range of comprehensive environmental strategies, policies, and programs. The successful candidate will be instrumental in monitoring proposed development and redevelopment to help ensure environmental protections are maintained.
