Located on the banks of Shoal Creek, Belmont Park consists of two Douglas fir-clad structures connected by a transparent living room bridge rising above the creek from a limestone pedestal.

Interior spaces echo the simplicity of the house, scaled for intimate family gatherings and focused into the tree canopy shading the site.

The rudimentary geometry of the house is made of weathered natural exterior materials, and a similar but finer interior finish reflects a marriage of the owners’ tastes—his affection for a rustic ranch aesthetic and her affinity for a more polished and refined display.
