This includes an on-site visit by the AIA Austin Homes Tour Committee, a group of 30+ committee members, who visit every submission in person and then vote on which homes they think are the most architecturally significant and should be featured on the Tour.
The smallest home on record to be a part of an AIA Austin Homes Tour was a 720 square foot duplex by Studio Maier + Zelter that was featured on the 2003 Homes Tour. The largest home was a 16,000 square foot project featured in 2013 by Shiflet Group Architects.
The firm that has had the most homes featured on the Tour is Dick Clark + Associates. Over the past 37 years, Dick Clark + Associates has had 17 homes selected for the Tour.
