Homes Tour Hours

Saturday, October 25 and Sunday, October 26
10:00 am – 6:00 pm both days

Checking In

Go to the first home you’d like to visit and check in at the registration table; you will receive your wristband. No need to check in at each house – you only need to do this one time.

  • Is there a one-day ticket? No, the ticket is a flat fee for one or both days.
  • What’s included in the VIP Experience? A VIP cocktail party on Friday night at a bonus home, a sparkly wristband, t-shirt, and tote.
  • Is there an AIA member discount? This is our largest fundraiser of the year, so we don’t offer discounted tickets for this particular event.
  • What if I need to remove my wristband? We encourage you to wear your wristband overnight. The wristband is waterproof. If for some reason you have to remove it, please bring it with you on Sunday and get a new one at the check-in table at the first home you visit.
  • Turns out I can’t attend. Can I get a refund? Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds, but you can transfer your tickets to someone else. Please email julia@aiaaustin.org to transfer tickets.
Shoe Policy

No shoes or bare feet in the homes. You’ll need to remove your shoes at each house, so plan your footwear accordingly. Socks or booties must be worn. Booties will be provided. We encourage you to reuse your booties at each house and to recycle them when you have finished the tour.

Children

Children 10 and under can attend for free and no registration or wristband is required. Children over the age of 10 years will be charged full price. Please ensure that all children are escorted and supervised at all times.

Photography

No cameras or camera phones are allowed in the Tour homes. No photographs are to be taken inside the Tour homes. Anyone taking photos on the property or in the Tour homes will risk surrender of their ticket. Official photographers will be wearing lanyards.

Accessibility

Because these are private homes, special accommodations may not be possible. Please check the Homes Tour booklet for information about which homes are accessible.

Parking

This is a self-driving tour. Parking rules will be apparent at the houses, so please be respectful of signs and parking attendants as you proceed on the tour.

Weather

The tour will take place rain or shine. All sales are final.

Rules
  • No smoking, food, or drinks allowed inside Tour homes.
  • Do not open cabinets, closets, drawers, or refrigerators.
  • Do not enter closets or rooms that have been closed or blocked.
  • Do not block driveways or walk on lawns or landscaping.
  • No animals allowed on the Tour, except for service animals.
  • Public restrooms are not provided on the Tour, please plan accordingly.
