Since our founding over 70 years ago, Steinberg Hart has evolved from a San Francisco Bay Area regional architecture practice focused on custom homes and California living to an international architecture, planning and interiors practice with broad expertise in higher education, urban mixed-use, residential, arts and culture, hospitality, government, and civic projects. Today, the firm has offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, San Diego, Austin, New York, and Shanghai with 50 registered architects and 118 employees worldwide.
At Steinberg Hart, we’ve built a culture that is as unique as each of our employees, encouraged by the belief that diversity and equity are keys to true collaboration. We work in studios across our seven offices, creating teams for our clients that are uniquely suited for each project and melding our firmwide expertise with intimate local knowledge.
