At McKinney York Architects, we believe in the power of people and places to enrich lives. Our goal is to connect people to each other and the world around them by creating architecture that engages, inspires, and belongs. Engage: We make places that engage people in a dialogue by first cultivating a conversation with our clients about their aspirations for their projects. This effort infuses our architecture with both meaning and purpose. Inspire: Because the places we inhabit inevitably shape who we are, we strive to create optimistic architecture that lifts spirits and transforms lives by inspiring new ideas, learning, compassion, or simple wonder. Belong: Buildings also structure our relationships to each other and the world around us. By mindfully orchestrating these relationships we foster a real sense of belonging and draw people together to make connections. Our portfolio evidences this empathetic focus, rarely repeating a style, strategy, or solution from one project to the next.

McKinney York Architects is certified by the State of Texas as a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) and by the City of Austin as a Woman Business Enterprise WBE.
