Forsite Studio is an Austin architecture firm practicing custom residential architecture, adaptive reuse, and sustainable design since 2007. The firm works design-build, carrying each project from architectural design through construction so the built result matches the drawing. Its portfolio spans custom homes, historic and adaptive-reuse projects, hospitality, and community architecture across Austin, including the Builder’s Choice 2025 winning Elizabeth Street Residence, the Camp Koko and Rio Vista custom homes, the Easy Street Capital adaptive-reuse office, and the Daylight Homeless Center. Sustainability runs through the work, with a consistent focus on Austin Energy Green Building and LEED design principles and recognition from the Austin Green Awards. The practice is led by founder James Ajit Smith, LEED AP, and principal architect Daniel Loe, AIA, LEED AP, with a small, hands-on team that keeps design and construction under one roof.
