We are looking for an experience individual that can ideally function as a Project Architect or Manager, responsible for the following duties:

  • Collaborate with and lead project team during all phases of design and construction
  • Serve as primary point of contact and client liaison
  • Responsibility for project scope, schedule, and budget alignment and management
  • Coordinate and produce schematic, design development, and construction documents
  • Lead consultant coordination and coordinate engineering systems
  • Perform construction administration duties including review of shop drawings, material samples, and submittals for conformance with design
  • Assist with and review project specifications and/or coordinate with specification writer
  • Maintain contact with clients, consultants, and contractors during all project phases
  • Supervision, support, and mentoring of junior staff

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be based in Austin, TX
  • Professional degree in architecture
  • Licensed Architect
  • Extensive Revit knowledge and experience
  • Approximately 8+ years of professional experience with all phases of design and construction
  • Experience managing projects over 50,000sf/$15M construction cost preferred
  • Comfort with project design, construction documentation, production, and construction
  • Experience with building codes, specifications, building and engineering systems
  • Experience with detailing and coordinating exterior envelope design
  • Understanding of project management process
  • Experience reviewing construction documentation
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • A collaborative and professional work ethic
  • Interest in public building typologies: higher education architecture and planning, civic architecture
  • Passion for the craft of construction and high-quality design
