Join the CRAN Committee for a project tour and presentation led by Elizabeth Baird, AIA of Elizabeth Baird Architecture & Design and Royce H. Flournoy, president of Texas Construction Company.
They will focus on the process of collaborating with a contractor/homeowner client to design and permit a new house and ADU in East Austin.

Learning Objectives:
!. Understand how architect and contractor/client worked together to develop a previously underutilized lot.
2. Understand parameters and building constraints related to building a second story ADU on an alley.
3. Understand residential permit review process related to: historic review for demolition, water meters, visitability ordinance, protected trees, and McMansion Ordinance.
4. Understand design using an interpretation of the Austin bungalow as inspiration for the project.
