April 5, 2018 - 5:30pm

Our committee is meeting once a month and at each of these meetings we'll be discussing a different topic related to Sustainability. This month and next we'll be discussing Client Education.

In order for architectural practices to be able to truly implement sustainable tactics with their work, they must be able to communicate the value and payoff related to building sustainably to their clientele. Often clients' misconceptions and 'now' mentality prevent progress. Despite us trying to make a change, many of us are not equip with a method or system for ensuring our clients are on board with our mission.

Allison Wilson, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, Architect and Sustainability Director of Ayers Saint Gross, will be joining us to discuss helpful methods and systems that could help you and your firm guarantee sustainable outcomes. Join us and contribute to the conversation; we would love to hear your thoughts on the subject.

Also, we are challenging everyone to bring the "best snack ever"!

Looking forward to seeing familiar faces and hopefully some new ones as well!
