We're please to announce that the Architecture in Schools Committee will be hosting BOX CITY at the Austin Earth Day Festival at Mueller Saturday April 18th from 12-6pm.  We'll be set up in the Kid-Zone!

We are in need of VOLUNTEERS who love architecture, sustainability, and having fun designing with the kids!  Sign-up using Volunteer Spot:

We're also in need of DONATIONS.  If you or your office would like to donate boxes, recycled materials, and/or other crafting supplies for children, please see our list below:

BOXES (broken down please) - Small Boxes (10-12") - Medium Boxes (16-18") - Large Boxes (20-24")     RECYCLED STUFF & CRAFTING MATERIALS: - Toilet Paper / Paper Towel Rolls - colored tissue paper - popsicle sticks - straws - plastic forks / spoons - plastic water bottles     FROM AROUND THE OFFICE: - old architecture magazines - old drawing sets - Paint color swatches - Fabric Swatches   ... or anything else that would be easy for elementary-aged children to be creative in their designs!       Please drop all donations off to the AIA office.  We promise to put your donation to good use and thank you for your support of our project, Box City
