AIA Austin, Central Texas ASLA, and Landscape Forms are pleased to welcome Dr. Markus Jatsch of Martha Schwartz Partners to our design community here in Austin, Texas.

Markus Jatsch is an award winning architect and urban planner with a background in landscape architecture and fine arts. He has over 20 years of professional experience and is involved with the design of all projects at MSP where he also oversees all research activities. He has collaborated with Martha Schwartz on select projects for over 15 years.

is AIA Austin's own continuing education program, offering up to 6 CEUs at several meetings per year. Allied Members offer sessions on the latest techniques, practices, products, and technology in design and construction and one Allied Member also sponsors lunch. 

The program is open to AIA members at a reduced rate and is also open to non-members.

Event Bauhaus - 100 Years of Influence

Join Eva Schone and Luanne Stovall for a discussion of arguably the most influential design movement and school of the 20th century, the Bauhaus. The Bauhaus secured a firm place in history by defining a new way of living and shaping design education in the process. In the mere fourteen years of its existence between the two World Wars, the Bauhaus created and produced an impressive multidisciplinary body of work that transitioned from visionary to classic over the past century, embodying the paradigm shift from craft production to mass production.
